Katy and Luke are big animal lovers so they made sure their wedding day had plenty of references to dogs, alpacas, and their furry friends! Their cake topper featured their dogs, their seating chart was made of dog tag name plates, and dapper dressed alpacas mingled with the guests during cocktail hour.
Thoughtful details went beyond just their love of animals though. The groom’s family is from Maine so they made sure to have local whoopie pies brought in as favors for guests. But the sweets didn’t stop there because guests also got a fun surprise late night snack when Captain Cookie’s dessert truck showed up!
Perhaps the moment that tugged on heart strings the most wasn’t the playful choreographed dance the bride did with her dad, but the “flash mob” serenade he did for his daughter. He secretly gave instructions to all the guests to help him sing as song from Katy’s childhood during his Father of the Bride toast. It makes us teary-eyed again just thinking about it!
This was such a fun wedding and the photos really capture the energy of their celebrations!
