Stylish Pink Winter Barn Wedding Sarah and Chris

Sarah and Chris’s 2019 winter barn wedding featured fun and fashion, with both the bride AND groom making outfit changes throughout the day!

BEFORE THE CEREMONY

To kick off their wedding day, the couple and their wedding party got ready in our farm house. We’re sure glad they did, because it resulted in the cutest bridesmaid pajama photo, with all the ladies snug in their winter flannels!

Sarah and Chris then met by the silo for a first look before their ceremony. Sarah positively glowed in her fit and flare wedding dress with lace appliqué and flowing veil. And Chris showed off his fashion sense in a blue tuxedo jacket with contrasting black lapels.

AFTER THE CEREMONY

After their church ceremony, they returned to 48 Fields for their cocktail hour and reception. Sarah and Chris took portraits in the fields with their wedding party, and Sarah brought the style with both a cozy, fur-look shrug and a custom painted leather jacket!

At their cocktail hour following the ceremony, their guests signed postcards and deposited them into a fun, vintage blue suitcase. This was such a personal alternative to a guest book, perfect for a couple that loves to travel!

WINTER BARN WEDDING RECEPTION

The couple had their reception in the upper level of the dairy barn, where family-style tables were styled with neutral linens, elegant gold-rimmed plates topped with calligraphy place cards, and golden cutlery. Sarah and Chris made a grand entrance to their reception, and it was Chris’s turn for an outfit change, now sporting a white tuxedo jacket!

Their winter barn wedding reception was full of personality. Rather than cutting the cake, they cut the pie! The couple’s barbecue buffet and pie table were the perfect casual touches to make their guests feel right at home. And when the dancing got going, Sarah kicked off her heels in favor of white Converse sneakers – the better to dance the night away!
