This November wedding was full of details that keep drawing us back again and again. Sydney and Jack brought the tailored English countryside and boho vibes together in their gorgeous terracotta and emerald green wedding, with tweed suits and whimsical bohemian florals.
GETTING READY
Sydney and Jack clearly considered every piece of their fall wedding. Before the day even began, their invitation suite set the mood with handmade paper, terracotta letterpress, and organic designs creating a luxurious yet cozy feel.
On their wedding day, thoughtful details like these were everywhere. While they got ready in the farm house, Sydney and her bridesmaids wore oversized terracotta button-down shirts for a fun photo op. Sydney then dressed in a long-sleeve, a-line wedding dress with elaborate, floral-inspired lace. Lastly, her long hair was pulled into a loose, boho braid accented with beaded hair vines.
EMERALD GREEN & TWEED WEDDING PARTY
Meanwhile, Sydney’s bridesmaids donned floor-length dresses in a rich, emerald green. And Jack and his groomsmen wore brown tweed suits reminiscent of the English countryside and ideal for the chilly November weather. Emerald green ties and pocket squares completed their outfits.
As soon as everyone was ready, Sydney and Jack met for a first look next to the dairy barn. The couple used this opportunity to take photos together and with their wedding party. Sydney and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of peachy pinks, dusty rose, and deep purple that beautifully complemented the fall foliage. She also gifted her bridesmaids with floral denim jackets, matching her own, to keep them warm on the cool fall day. Because they were not specific to the wedding day, her attendants can continue to enjoy them for years to come!
A BOHO INDOOR CEREMONY
Sydney and Jack then signed their beautiful ketubah, a Jewish marriage contract, before proceeding to their ceremony.
Sydney and Jack said their vows in the lower level of the dairy barn in front of a boho floral backdrop in fall colors. They also decorated the aisle and the posts with muted fall florals and dried grasses.
To complete the seasonal mood, the couple served pear and cinnamon-infused water at the ceremony entrance.
They had a joyful and light-hearted ceremony, ending with the traditional breaking of the glass.
After the ceremony, Sydney and Jack snuck away for a few photos. Meanwhile, their guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour with yard games and a signature drink named after their adorable dog, Rosie!
FALL BARN RECEPTION
The party then moved to the upper level of the dairy barn for dinner and dancing, where warm wood, candles, and cafe lights created a cozy atmosphere despite the chilly weather outside.
Guests sat at round tables with luxe white linens and terracotta napkins. The ceremony flowers were repurposed to decorate the long head table, and a mix of low and elevated floral centerpieces decorated each guest table.
Even the cake tied into the color palette, with caramel drips providing another hint of terracotta.
Love filled the room throughout the evening, with toasts, good food, and dancing.
It was a beautiful day for a wonderful couple. We were so glad to host Sydney and Jack’s beautiful terracotta and emerald green wedding, and wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
