Judy and Billy married in the company of a small group of family and friends at their winter elopement at 48 Fields Farm in Northern Virginia. Judy brought her all-pink wedding vision to life through flowers and other details throughout the day.
The couple started their day in the farm house. Judy dressed in a long-sleeve, all-lace wedding dress and fun, light pink flats with pearly details on each heel. Billy wore a classic, navy suit.
Next, they headed to the lower level of the dairy barn, where they had both their ceremony and reception. They tied the knot in front of a wood arbor decorated with flowy, white fabric and beautiful pink, white, and green floral arrangements. The arbor is part of 48 Fields’ Something Borrowed collection available to all of our couples for no additional cost.
After the ceremony, Judy and Billy served each guest champagne from our boxwood champagne wall. This was a fun new twist on the traditional receiving line, giving them an opportunity to chat with each guest individually!
At their reception, they had individual portions of their signature cocktails bottled for each guest for safety. Like only a protective sister can, Billy’s sister gave a funny and memorable speech warning Billy not to mess this up!
The happy couple also managed to sneak away for romantic portraits in the fields, proving that winter weddings can be beautiful, too! We’re so happy to have hosted their winter elopement!
