Colorful Spring Wedding for Two Beautiful Brides Cara and Jenna

These two brides’ wedding in late spring in Northern Virginia was full of love, fun, and vibrant spring colors!

Cara and Jenna began their day by getting ready in the farm house. As a part of their wedding morning, they exchanged heartfelt letters to read before the ceremony. They then met for an emotional first look, where they saw each other in their dresses for the first time! Cara and Jenna were a perfect pair, wearing complementary modern lace wedding dresses with flowing tulle skirts. They carried matching bouquets of vibrant, colorful spring flowers.

A COLORFUL SPRING OUTDOOR CEREMONY

Following their first look and portraits, they each walked down the aisle for their outdoor ceremony on the ceremony patio. Serving as their backdrop was our flower ring decorated with colorful spring floral arrangements that coordinated with their bouquets. During the ceremony and throughout the day, it was abundantly clear that these two are crazy about each other!

Once this sweet ceremony ended, it was time for cocktail hour. Handmade calligraphy wood signs greeted the guests, as well as a polaroid guest book, signature cocktails, and a champagne wall. In lieu of favors, Cara and Jenna chose to give a donation to an organization close to their hearts, The Trevor Project.

AN ELEGANT FAMILY-STYLE BARN RECEPTION

The party then moved into the upper level of the dairy barn for the reception. Rather than individual tables, Cara and Jenna chose to arrange their reception as a family-style affair. Guests sat at four long, banquet-style tables and the brides sat at their own sweetheart table. White linens, gold chargers, and dark greenery table runners made for an elegant table design.

These two brides definitely know how to party! It was a very fun evening of dinner, late-night pretzels, and of course plenty of time on the dance floor!
