At Sarah and Jared’s 2019 emerald green fall wedding, a sophisticated color palette, autumn foliage, and sweet details came together to create an unforgettable day.
THEIR FIRST LOOK
Once they finished getting ready in the farm house, Sarah and Jared met for a first look. Sarah appeared in a whimsical and romantic dress with a gauzy overlay, plunging sweetheart neckline, and lacy details. Her red hair was expertly braided into an elaborate updo, and a fingertip veil hung down her back.
Jared stood before her in a blue suit with a subtle windowpane pattern. Pops of red tied the couple’s outfits together: a red tie and boutonniere for him, and red lipstick and burgundy flowers in her bouquet for Sarah.
The couple then explored the property for portraits in front of the barn and in the fields before their outdoor ceremony.
A COZY OUTDOOR CEREMONY
The colors of fall decorated their ceremony space, from the florals to the natural backdrop. Sarah and Jared wrote their own vows, making for a beautifully personal ceremony.
It was a chilly late fall day, so the couple provided their guests with cozy faux fur blankets to keep everyone warm during the ceremony. Sarah’s bridesmaids wore long, emerald green dresses with cream shawls. They and Sarah also wore fleece leggings under their dresses for an extra layer of comfort against the cold. Across from them, Jared’s groomsmen were dressed in navy suits and red ties. And of course, the wedding party would not be complete without the couple’s adorable corgi!
AN INDOOR RECEPTION
Following the ceremony, everyone moved inside into the dairy barn. Sarah and Jared opted to have dinner upstairs and dancing downstairs, enabling them to use the entire barn space. Upstairs, under the warm wood vaulted ceilings and sparkly string lights, banquet tables awaited their guests.
Sarah and Jared’s sweetheart table was framed by their ceremony arch, cleverly relocated to serve double duty at their reception! For dessert, the couple chose pie and other treats perfect for their fall wedding.
Once dinner, toasts, and special dances ended (don’t miss Sarah’s reaction to Jared’s dance with his mom!), everyone moved downstairs into the bright lower level to dance the night away.
It was our pleasure to host Sarah & Jared’s emerald green fall wedding, and we wish this wonderful couple a lifetime of happiness together!
