Carolina and Cesar’s lilac and grey spring micro wedding was family-centered and filled with love.
The couple began the day in the wedding suites in our farm house. Carolina donned a fairytale wedding dress with long lace sleeves and floral appliqué adorning the flowing skirt. To complete the look, her hair was tied up in a low updo, bringing an element of casual elegance.
Once dressed, Carolina had the sweetest first look with her grandmother – a beautiful moment perfectly captured! She also carried a photo of a dearly departed family member as a memento on her bouquet.
Next door, Cesar dressed in a light grey suit with brown suspenders to match his attendants, who sported a more casual version of the outfit sans jackets.
AN INTIMATE INDOOR CEREMONY
Carolina and Cesar first saw each other in their finery at their indoor ceremony in the lower level of the dairy barn. Carolina added a cathedral-length veil for the ceremony, its beautiful delicate detailing trailing behind her as she walked down the aisle. Greenery and lanterns lined the aisle, and our wood arbor clad in flowing white fabric served as the backdrop.
On either side of the couple stood Carolina and Cesar’s attendants, the bridesmaids in blush and lilac, the groomsmen in grey.
During the ceremony, the couple planted a unity plant using dirt from each of their families’ homes to symbolize two families becoming one.
The couple said “I do” and sealed it with a kiss, then took a few portraits before joining their guests to celebrate!
A BEAUTIFUL BARN RECEPTION
Next, Carolina and Cesar joined their guests for brunch, cake, and dancing at their reception in the upper level of the dairy barn. Their guests sat at banquet tables set with blush pink napkins, gold chargers, low candles, and greenery. And at the head of the room was Carolina and Cesar’s sweetheart table. Greenery and flowers decorated the couple’s table, and our moon gate framed it to create the perfect focal point.
For dessert, the couple had a small cake perfect for a micro wedding, as well as donuts for their guests to enjoy! Each guest also received a succulent plant to take home as a favor to remember this special day.
After the wedding, the fairy tale continued, as the couple headed straight to the airport for a trip to Disney!
It was our pleasure to host Carolina and Cesar’s lilac and grey micro wedding. We wish them many magical years together!
