Meghan and Henry’s navy and blush fall wedding at 48 Fields in Leesburg, Virginia, was a day full of love and laughter.
GETTING READY IN THE FARM HOUSE
The happy couple started the day by getting ready in the farm house with their attendants. While they got ready, Meghan and her bridesmaids wore matching, monogrammed pajama sets perfect for fun group photos. Meghan then dressed in an elegant A-line gown with a modern lace bodice, plunging neckline, and soft, flowing skirt. She wore strappy white block heels, but kept sparkly white Keds on hand to change into for dancing.
Once dressed, Meghan had a first look with her bridesmaids in their floor-length blush pink dresses. Their faces when they first saw her were priceless!
Meanwhile, Henry and his gents dressed in navy suits. Henry’s boasted an American flag lining, and his groomsmen sported American flag socks to match his patriotic vibe. The guys also wore blush ties to match the bridesmaids.
As soon as everyone was ready, Meghan and Henry met for an emotional first look of their own outside the farm house.
NAVY & BLUSH OUTDOOR CEREMONY IN FRONT OF THE BARN
After a few private moments together, as well as photos with their wedding party, Meghan and Henry joined their guests at their ceremony. The two said “I do” at an outdoor ceremony in front of the dairy barn, surrounded by family and friends. As their backdrop, they chose a flower ring with white and blush florals.
They had a lovely ceremony, and once the happy couple tied the knot, it was time to party!
RECEPTION IN THE DAIRY BARN
On the opposite side of the barn, guests gathered for an outdoor cocktail hour with lawn games, then moved into the upper level of the dairy barn for dinner and toasts. String lights hanging from the warm wood vaulted ceilings set a cozy and romantic mood for Meghan and Henry’s reception. Ceremony florals found new life as decor for the sweetheart table, and guests sat at round tables with black Chiavari chairs, white linens, navy napkins, and white and blush floral centerpieces.
After dinner, everyone headed downstairs for dessert and an evening of dancing! The couple joined their friends and family on the dance floor, dancing the night away. When it was time for the party to end, Meghan and Henry exited in style through a tunnel of glow wands!
It was such a pleasure to host Meghan and Henry’s navy and blush fall wedding, and we wish the happy couple many wonderful years together!
