If anyone in the wedding industry had a superpower, many of them may say that they wish they could control the weather. I know having that ability would make our lives so much less stressful on wedding days. There would probably be a lot more Saturdays with blue skies, white puffy clouds, just the hint of a breeze, and temperatures in the low 70s.
If ever there was a day where I would have wanted to be sure of the weather, it would have been for Holly and Josh’s wedding. You see they opted for something a little different. An outdoor reception, al fresco style with only the twinkling stars above them. No tent would be set up as a “just in case”. Now we knew that the worst case scenario was that they would simply move their wedding inside, but no one really wanted that to happen.
Luckily the forecast was on our side, and Holly and Josh could not have had a better October fall day. Everything went so seamlessly and guests danced under moonlight and string lights until the very end.
